The Institue for Gonzo Advancement is pleased to present footage of the rare Pale Yellow Ticking-thrush, or platycichla tickruleus, living on a pond near Billboa, N.C. Behold its chromatic movements! And that stirring song! Upon first review, Master Ornathologist Lord Byron Quipweather said of the rarity, “What a second-hand treasure. I believe mum has one of those.”

This short, short film is part of an exercise in working with natural, non-human sounds for a video production course at CDS. Thanks to Bria Dolnick for the excellent wedding present.
