Hammer No More The Fingers, Durham, NC
What the hell? Three months into the new year and nary a post on here? Somewhere between buying a house and putting on a big ol’ photography show (more on that soon) I let this dear repository of mine languish in the distant and dusty corners of the inter-webs. I suppose blogging falls a little further on my hierarchy of needs, but it’s something I really enjoy doing when I make the time for it — it’s good to get these images out and let them breathe and live a little bit longer.
Yesterday I walked into my office at the INDY and realed in horror at the sight of rainwater pouring over my hard drives and laptop from a hole in the ceiling. We are currently “in between houses” and I thought keeping all of my important computer equipment and files on the third floor of a sturdy, brick tobacco factory that has been turned into a swanky office suite would be far more secure and functional than a cardboard box among many stacked in the that last remaining bit of space in our temporary rental. Turns out there are some downsides to renovated tobacco warehouses, but fortunately everything was spared, somehow.
With a new, triple back-up, external hard drive on the way and an extended lease on the photos I’ve already made, I’d like to post up on here on a more regular basis. As always, thanks for looking.
